The ability to be modern, yet also timeless, is one of the stories which Salvatore Ferragamo wants to tell in it’s latest scent, Uomo Salvatore Ferragamo. The luxury Italian fashion house sent over the brand new scent for me to check out.
It’s said to inspire the contemporary man, which is described as a modern gentleman with typical Italian, full of charisma, creativity and style wherever he goes.
First let’s talk about the bottle. The solid translucent glass is smooth and comes with the Uomo branding to the front and feels premium. Down both sides of the bottle there’s the “Venna” logo in black, which sets off the rest of the bottle as well as ensuring a good grip of the bottle.
The top is a large black disc form, with the atomiser providing a good amount of the fragrance.
What Does Uomo By Salvatore Ferragamo Smell Like?
The smell itself is quite sweet, but maintains masculinity with it’s woody notes. It’s very pleasant and inviting, elegant and inoffensive, and this will work for a number of occasions. I think that it’s perfect for a Summer’s night, but is subtle enough to be worn during the day too.
At the heart of the fragrance is the classic Italian ingredient, tiramisu, which is combined with orange blossom and ambrox which gives it the sweet and seductive smell.
