Tommy Jeans SS18 Capsule Collection

Tommy Hilfiger has released a new capsule collection for the Tommy Jeans brand, bringing yet more 90’s culture and retro style to your wardrobe.

There’s been plenty of Tommy Jeans drops in the past few years, all being a massive success, including Summer 2017 and their 90’s inspired 2016 capsule collection. For this year, the capsule collection is 35 piece strong, and includes everything from T-shirts to sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, trainers and accessories such hats, bags and everyone’s 90’s favourite accessory, the bumbag.

Filled with red, white and blue, I have put together a few of my favourites in my style edit, which features key pieces from the collection.

The main image above features a track jacket, hoodie and T Shirt. The track jacket is pure 90’s with it’s colour blocking style. It’s minimal and clean in design, with the flag logo to the front near the top left of the jacket. This comes in at £95.

Inspired from the sailing scene, this hoodie features an embroidered logo to the front left breast, along with branding down the front. The back has oversize “TH 45” logo, and is available in red as seen, as well as blue and grey. This comes in at £95.

The featured T Shirt has the Tommy Jeans wording with flag logo to the front, along with ringer style neck and sleeve taping. The sides get striped graphic styles, with the back having a large number and Hilfiger wording, inspired by a football shirt. This comes in at £75

There’s plenty of classic T Shirts, with the wording and flag logo to the front. This one comes in five colours including white, red, grey, blue and fluro yellow. You can pick one of these up for £35.

One of the ultimate things in 90’s style is the bumbag, and Tommy Jeans are making sure this trend continues this season with their offering. They have a few, but this one is my favourite, with the classic logo and branding, and a nice clean look. This doesn’t run cheap, and it comes in at £70.

Lighter hues for your bottom half are a good thing for the Summer, and something I really like. You can upgrade yours with these beige colour chinos. They are sleek and will smarten up your outfits. These will set you back £80.

This sweatshirt takes inspiration from sailing with it’s logo, and comes in a selection of three colours, including white, grey and blue. It comes in at £90.

If you’re on the hunt for a back pack for this Summer, this clean design has the branding and logo to the front, with front zip pocket along with main compartment for storage. It features the classic red, white and blue design, and will set you back £85.

Finally is the 90’s sailing jacket, perfect to wear when the weather takes a turn for the worst. Constructed from 100% nylon, it will stand up well in the rain, and features the colour blocking design along with small graphics throughout the jacket. It will set you back £130.
