Recently Tom Carter showcased their latest collection of luxury but affordable timepieces, with an emphasis in big watches in steel.
Tom Carter is a lifestyle brand with over ten years experience in the international watch industry, and they have a commitment to quality, accuracy and superior craftsmanship.
The collection consists of 17 watches in different styles, including the Tio Ellinas Edition watches, named after one of the brand ambassadors, Formula 3000 racing driver Tio Ellinas.
The Tio Ellinas Edition watch comes in a rose gold and black carbon style, they have 50mm AAA Grade PVD rose gold plated All Stainless Steel housing with Tachymeter and the face is carbon black giving it a racing feel. The genuine black leather strap has stitching detail in white which really sets off the watch nicely, and is finished with the same rose gold on the crown cap and latch. The movement is a Finite Miyota OS20 chronograph movement.
The Vanguard style has a smaller but still large 45mm casing, genuine leather strap and comes in three variations; a sand colour face, black face and a rose gold bezel version. The design is more minimal and sophisticated, and comes with a Finite Miyota 2415 movement.
The Voyager range is available in 9 different variations, including two special editions. These are a more fun, relaxed and have a laid back feel to the design. With a 45mm size, the watches come with silicone straps in a variety of colours, which can reflect your personality.
A stainless steel bezel with silver face keeps the watch looking stylish, with the number and pointer detailing colour co-ordinated with the strap keeping the continuity of the design. Two special editions include contrasting colour straps, with a choice of black and white or red and blue.
I have got one of their “Captain” watches, the Captain Brown. Available with a black or brown strap, the Captain watch comes in at a large 50mm with steel housing, the black face is complimented with yellow detailing.
The chronograph style and date window is in-keeping with the accuracy philosophy, and it comes with a Finite Miyota OS20 movement. It feels very well built, this is noticeable with the chunky style of the casing and leather strap, the craftsmanship not only looks good but feels like quality too.
I love all the detailing on the watch, from the quality leather strap with contrast stitching detail, to the Tom Carter branding on the side of the case and crown.
All the watches are packaged well, and come in a branded Tom Carter box, with the watch in it’s own presentation box, maintaining the luxury feel to the brand.
