It’s been a fast few days of football shirt releases ready for Euro 2020, so sorry if you’re not into that. The Spain home goalkeeper shirt for 2020 has been unveiled. You’ve already seen the Spain home 2020 shirt as well as the Spain 2020 training clothing, and this is the new goalkeeper shirt.
Here’s everything you need to know.
The Spain goalkeeper shirt for 202 is orange. This is the first time in my memory that Spain have had an orange goalkeeper shirt. The official name Adidas are giving this colour is Easy Orange.
Overall I think the shirt is a little bit plain looking. It’s an unconventional colour, and since this is short sleeves, as many goalkeeper shirts are these days, it looks just like a regular T-shirt with the Spain badge.
There is some detailing on the sides of the shirt, with a band and pattern within it, the same pattern can also be seen on the collar. The Spain crest is a tonal version, and like the Adidas badge opposite, is in black.
If this is the home goalkeeper shirt, it will be interesting to see what it’s like alongside the red of the Spain home shirt. Since the colours are really close together, it might look a little odd. We’ll have to wait and see. (UPDATE: See Below)
Of course, there should be another goalkeeper shirt, which is technically supposed to go with the away shirt, however if that one looks better, you can be sure you’ll see it a lot more.
What do you think?
It’s exclusively available at Adidas and the Federation right now, priced at £75.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2019
In the Spain vs Malta game, the team wore the new home shirt, and this was accompanied by a different goalkeeper shirt, a neon yellow colour. This was also sported in the official press unveiling on Friday, with David De Gea, Pau Lopez and Kepa Arrizabalaga all wearing the neon yellow shirt.
This is interesting because as of now (November 2019) this neon yellow goalkeeper shirt is not for sale the the general public via Adidas or sports stores. The orange shirt is available, but I questioned above upon the announcement that this would be worn with the home shirt (since the colours are so close).
It can now be speculated that this orange Spain goalkeeper shirt will be the away goalkeeper shirt. A strange move releasing this one, since the away kit has not been officially announced or unveiled. According to speculation (along with previous kit release schedules) the away kit will be released in March 2020.
The design comes with similar features as the orange, with thick bold stripes down the sides of the shirt, and black tonal badges.
I prefer the neon yellow colour shirt, and it’s not the first time the Spain goalkeeper shirt has been this colour. There has been a neon yellow goalkeeper shirt at World Cup 2014, which was worn by Iker Casillas.
