The Bluebeards Revenge describes itself as the ultimate shaving experience for men. It was designed by a real life “bluebeard”, tired of having to combat tough stubble.
There is a paraben free range of luxury shaving products including everything you need for your shaving regime, including everything from shaving creams, pre and post shave solutions and a selection of razor blades.
I got some shaving cream and post shave balm. I do not like shaving foam, and have always preferred gel, as I have found them to be better. The Bluebeards Revenge cream is something in between a gel and foam.
The cream will foam up very slightly as you put it on your skin, but nothing like a traditional foam would. It contains something called Decelerine, a mixture of active ingredients which delays hair growth, which will reduce the frequency of your shaving regime.
The cream is pretty good, has a nice clean smell to it which is a take on a classic barber shop scent with a modern twist.
I love the tins this comes in, you can get messy with it using your fingers to get just the correct amount if you don’t have a shaving brush handy, however if you do prefer to keep your hands clean and use a brush, The Bluebeards Revenge stock those too.
Post shave balm is something I swear by. I know there’s a lot of men who don’t bother, or the old school who use an old fashioned aftershave, but I am a firm believer in aftershave balm.
The Bluebeards Revenge Post Shave Balm is a pretty good one, and has a light citrus scent to it. Containing aloe vera and a secret ingredient, it’s soft on your skin and will leave it feeling smooth.
The luxury shaving cream and post shave balm will set you back £9.99 each, and are available from retailers such as Holland and Barrett and Tesco, as well as online from Amazon and GroomU.
