Looking Forward To Spain vs Poland Tonight! Wearing My 2020 Home Spain Shirt

It’s another big day for me and Euro 2020. Later It’s Spain vs Poland, with Spain looking for their first win of the competition.

It’s the evening kick off, and it will all start from 8PM tonight (UK Time).

I am of course wearing my 2020 Spain home shirt, ready for the match!

I think it’s going to be a good game. Poland lost their first game so probably need at least a point to be in with a chance of staying in the competition. Since Spain already have 1 point, they can lose and as long as they win their last game against Slovakia they should be OK. But that would be cutting it close!

So Spain will want to win tonight. That will leave them on 4 points, and almost certain to qualify. That would give them less pressure going into the last game, which they should really win against Slovakia.

At things stand, Spain sit 3rd in the group, having played a game less. Yesterday Sweden beat Slovakia and top the group with 4 points, with Slovakia 2nd on 3 points. Poland are bottom of the group without a point.

It will be interesting to see the team line up. A few players got criticised from the first game against Sweden, especially Morata. I think Morata will still start the match, so I think it will be interesting to see if there’s any other changes.

Busquets has re-joined the squad after a negative PCR test. However he will be playing catch-up in terms of his fitness, so will probably not start.

Today I think Spain will answer any critics they have, and win the game 2-0.

There’s some other big games today too. First up is Hungary vs France, and then after that it’s Portugal vs Germany which should be a great game.

Yesterday it was of course a big day, with England playing against Scotland. It was a fairly poor game, Scotland probably played slightly better, with England only having one or two chances and Stones hitting the bar.

It was a Scotland performance that went down well with their fans. England on the other hand have been heavily criticised following the game. Since they’re the better team with better players they were expected to do much better than they did.

Today is the last of the 2nd games, and tomorrow we’ll see the final group games start to take place. The later stages of Euro 2020 will begin to unfold.

Have a great weekend of watching football (or whatever you’re doing!)
