Take me out is back for 2017! There’s plenty of No likey no lighty and this time round it’s moved from it’s usual December/January time to right now, April for 2017, so we’ve had to wait a little bit longer this year, but series 9 looks like it’s going to be a good one judging by the photos and stories from the girls. Paddy will be back on ITV1 with plenty of guys going down the love lift every Saturday night, starting this weekend, Saturday 15th April at 7pm till 8pm. You can check out all the pictures below and read more about this years flirty thirty.
Fahrenheit is one of those scents that’s been around virtually all of my life. It’s one which everyone’s dad has worn when we were growing up, it’s one of the first scents which most people my age, including myself ever had.
It’s one which is so well known as Fahrenheit, nobody even mentions that it’s from the house of Dior.
The original was released in 1988, and as mentioned was one of the first scents I had as a teen, along with CK One and Cerruti 1881. In 2009 for it’s 21st birthday, Dior released an updated version of Fahrenheit, Fahrenheit Absolute, and several years ago I got myself a bottle to see what it was all about.
The bottle: Yes, it’s the same classic dome shaped bottle as it’s father, with the same burnt red colour and same black top and atomiser too.
The spray is wide, so there’s no need for many sprays, and as you’ll know if you’ve had this or the original, it’s strong anyway, more on that below.
It’s a more intense version of the original, which was pretty intense as a scent. Extremely powerful and strong. I would not say it’s overpowering, but it’s as close as you’re going to get.
It’s still got that old school kick to it, it has musky notes but rather than those being spicy and punchy, they’re more smoky and sensual.
If you’ve never had this or the original then it’s safe to say this is one for the evening, and one for the more masculine and older gentleman. If you’re going for an old, classic look, this is something to consider.
If you were wearing clothing with this I would imagine a suit or definitely something smart, it just would smell unusual on you if you were trying to be a young hipster wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
Best season to wear – Autumn/Winter Scent type – Smoky, Warm, Slightly Woody Age Recommendation – 25+ Best Worn – Evening, Casual

Yes, it’s getting closer and closer to Summer, which means it’s time for the beard to go, and it’s gone! 😀 For the past couple of years I’ve had this tradition where I have a beard in the Winter and then shave it off for the Summer. I’ve done this now for a few years, and last year I decided that to make it an even 6 month kind of thing, I would use changing the clocks as a rough guide…So we put our clocks forward a few weeks back, and so I have finally shaved off the beard.
p.s. I may have created some content in advance for the blog, so don’t be surprised if it looks like I have the beard back 😉
It looks weird, I almost don’t recognise myself 😀 It’s always the same, and I only started doing the beard thing originally for Movember around 3 years ago, then decided to keep it in the Winter.
Not only that, but now the warmer weather is here it’s time to start putting away all the jumpers and knits, and get out all the T-shirts and Summer clothing. I’m looking forward to wearing T-shirts without another layer again, I may have to invest in some newer pieces 😉
For now I will keep out a couple of my favourite jumpers, because it’s not summer yet, and it’s still a little cold. One of my favourites has to be this one from Gant, so it’s made it to my Outfit Of The Week.
It’s my cream cable knit sweater, which I really like a lot. It’s minimal and simple style is what I like about it the most, and has a small logo to the breast. I love wearing this colour with this pair of denim from Cheap Monday, it’s another colour, they’re a brown/copper colour which I really like and think they work well with the cream jumper. I’ve worn these with my cream cricket jumper too, I might get that out in the coming weeks too. I wore these with my black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star trainers.
Have a great Friday & Weekend! It’s Easter next weekend, I cannot wait, no work! 😉 Check out more pics from this look below Read More
Whether you call it Sunday Lunch or Sunday Dinner, we can all probably agree that they are the best! They’re something to look forward to for many, every weekend. The Sunday lunch is not just about the food, it’s about tradition. Back when we were kids we went to my nanas house with the family, and for many it’s a chance to go to your mams, because nobody makes a home cooked roast like your mother! If you’re a regular reader of my blog then you’ll know that I don’t eat greens, nothing! For me a Sunday dinner is all about the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings, you cannot beat some good roasters and Yorkshire puds!

Several weeks ago I heard about Bud Light coming to the UK, and then when I was out a few weeks ago I noticed that in one of the bars they had it on tap…But the bar didn’t actually have it on! I’ve seen it in a few shops to buy, and I finally got myself a few cans to try out over the weekend.
Apparently we’ve had Bud Light in the UK before, I’ve never seen it, but apparently we did have it. Anyway, it’s now officially launched in the UK, and comes in a really distinctive blue colour can. I’ve only seen this in cans and on tap, so presumably it’s not available in bottle form, which is probably a good thing, because it is light, very light.
I hope you’ve had a good week so far, it’s Friday, and for most, it’s also Pay day!!
So last week for my outfit of the week I talked about the men’s pink Spring fashion trend, and I think it’s a big thing, with lots of shades of pastel pink and salmon being around already.
Another one of the pastel colours which is making waves as it does in Spring is green.
As you probably know from reading my blog or just in general, green was the Pantone colour of the year, and although it’s not the pale shade which I think is great for fashion, it’s in the same colour to that.
I am always interested in trying out new hair care products, especially things like waxes and hair styling products, as there’s such a large number available. I have always had quite tough thick hair, at least that’s what my barbers and hairdressers have told me in the past, but as I am getting older I do wonder if, or when that may change.
MR. is a new hair care system from Jamie Stevens which are innovative products specifically designed for thicker, fuller hair. MR. sent over a couple of products to have a try of.
Twelve years after the launch of Instinct comes this, Made Of Instinct from the line of fragrances by David Beckham. I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of this before it’s release tomorrow, so what is it all about.
As always I have to start with the bottle. It’s the same shape bottle as the other’s in the Instinct line, with this one being a really nice blue colour which I really like. The branding is clear and to the front in a chrome silver colour, which matches the colour of the top.
I really like the colour combination of the blue and silver, and it really works well.
The top is a magnet style which I love, and gives a more premium feel, and comes with the DVB logo to the top.
Made Of Instinct comes 12 years after the original Instinct, which was launched by David Beckham in 2005. A range of scents from the Instinct family were then born, including Intense, After Dark, Pure, Ice, Sport and Gold, and now in 2017 the new vibrant fragrance for men is here.
What does David Beckham Made Of Instinct Smell Like?
The scent is perfectly timed for the Spring, and this is definitely a scent well suited to the Spring. It’s quite a green-blue-citrus type of scent, which gives it more of a fresh-citrus type of smell, rather than the lemon style which is synonymous with a citrus scent.
There’s a big grapefruit presence, and it does feel like quite an energetic scent. It’s inoffensive, and will work well through the day as a casual scent, and has very light spicy tones.
Quite a good all rounder, I could wear this to work or just relaxing throughout the day, a Spring evening or casual night out.
You can get your bottle from 29th March 2017 priced at £26 for a 50ml bottle. Will you be picking up a bottle? Check out more of my men’s aftershave and cologne reviews for your favourite scent.

Spring has arrived, and with it, it’s brought a new fashion trend. Several weeks ago I read that the pantone colour of the year 2017 was green, specifically a green they call Greenery, which is quite a dirty, mid-to-light green, quite a solid colour.
There’s been lots of fashion produced in this colour for this season too, as well as other shades of green, signalling it could be big for Spring, but for me, it’s not. A great colour for spring style, at least the first half, is pink!
