The World Cup is right around the corner! Here is every single home and away shirt you will be seeing in the World Cup, that’s 64 different kits! Virtually every team will be wearing a new kit in the competition, some with different designs, and some slight updates on their kit. It’s always good to see the fresh new kits in the World Cup, from the heavyweights such as Nike, Adidas and Puma, to the smaller brands such as Hummel, Errea and Uhlsport.
There’s a couple of first timers in the World Cup, including Iceland and Panama, so a few new kits to look out for. Do you have any favourites?
Who’s excited for the World Cup? Yes, I am! There’s plenty of brand new kits which you can be wearing for the competition this year, but if the modern 2018 shirts are not your style, Umbro has came up with the answer. The iconic football kit maker has released it’s Umbro Summer Projects collection, and it’s brilliant!
Any fan of football or 90’s culture will be instantly taken back to the good old days of football, and in particular that infamous Summer of Italia 90. Umbro have created these tops which have clearly been inspired from the early 90’s tops, with countries like Spain, Belgium, Russia, Italy, France and of course, England being represented.
There has been a men’s fragrance which has been around since late 2016, it’s one which a lot of people have been talking about and you have all asked me about this one a good few times, well it’s finally on the blog, Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue!
The question is, how good is the award winning fragrance, and is it worth the hype? My friends at Versace have sent over a bottle, and I can now reveal everything you need to know about the scent.
I found my new TV Show to watch! The Bold Type, which is on Amazon Prime, and it’s good!
It’s actually not new, it aired in the USA in 2017 on an American network, but we got it in the UK back in February…You may have seen the ads for it on TV. If you like programs like Entourage, Girls, Red Oaks etc. then you may like this. I love shows like this, because it’s all about the characters and their friendships, which is exactly what those other shows are about.
The World Cup is only week’s away, and it’s the first ever appearance for Iceland in the big competition. On the field they’ve got a tough group, having to contend with Argentina, Nigeria and Croatia, and off the field 66 Degrees North has released a capsule collection in time for the tournament.
The collection consists of hoodies, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts and accessories including hat, bumbag, scarf and bag.
So since we’re getting into the Summer, I thought I better upgrade my Summer style and add a couple of things. Some of these you’ll have seen before, because I’ve featured them in a little preview, and they’re all from Uniqlo.
I’ve never bought anything from Uniqlo before, but they’ve been on my radar for years. Since they don’t have any shops near me, I’ve had to buy them online. They only seem to sell them on their own site, so it’s never been a huge priority to sign up and get some things.
But I finally have, and this is what I’ve got!
I picked up a linen shirt in blue, white Supima cotton T Shirt in white, and some chinos in a cream colour. Basically a whole outfit, and the cost? Less than £50! I am really happy with the quality of all the items, the fit is good, so here’s the details on each piece.
For film night I decided to check out to see if there was anything good on Amazon Prime, and I happened to see that Logan Lucky was on there, so decided to give it a watch. I kind of knew of the film, I saw previews of this when it came out at the cinema last year and it looked good, so I was happy to give this a watch and see what it was all about.
It’s a comedy heist film, in the same kind of style as Oceans 11 and it’s squeals, and is directed by Steven Soderberg, who was responsible for those films too.
Tommy Hilfiger has released a new capsule collection for the Tommy Jeans brand, bringing yet more 90’s culture and retro style to your wardrobe.
There’s been plenty of Tommy Jeans drops in the past few years, all being a massive success, including Summer 2017 and their 90’s inspired 2016 capsule collection. For this year, the capsule collection is 35 piece strong, and includes everything from T-shirts to sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, trainers and accessories such hats, bags and everyone’s 90’s favourite accessory, the bumbag.
Filled with red, white and blue, I have put together a few of my favourites in my style edit, which features key pieces from the collection.
I have got myself a new jacket for the Spring and Summer! I’ve already written about denim jackets and how I love those for this season, and as much as I do like them, I love a bomber jacket.
They are so easy to wear, comfortable and stylish, and go with anything. When it comes to Spring clothing, a bomber fits the bill. I got this from Jaeger and I really like this one.
A while back I got a Duck and Cover jacket which I do really like, it’s a grey colour which is timeless. I was after another colour which is also timeless, navy, but I think for this style of jacket, the darker colour proves to have a slightly smarter edge, depending on what you wear with it of course.
