It seems like only a few weeks ago I heard about a new snooker game which was coming out, Snooker 19 which is officially licenced and the first “official” World Snooker game for a good while. I was excited about this, and couldn’t wait to get it, since it would be the first snooker game I’ve played since the Playstation/PS2 days, and first on the newer consoles.
It was released yesterday, and I got it! But how does this new game stack up to the games of old? Here’s my review.
I’ve had this bottle of Lynx spray since Christmas, which is no surprise, since it seems like so many people get or receive their annual bottle of Lynx. This is Lynx Urban Tobacco & Amber, but is this a new generation of Lynx?
This is not a deodorant or antiperspirant, or your regular body spray, or at least, it’s not billed as such. This is what Lynx are calling a daily fragrance. So what’s it all about?
Kappa is the 90’s brand which just keeps on giving! It made a comeback around 4 years ago, and has been popular in the casual scene and streetwear world ever since.
I am glad I got my tracksuit back in 2014, ahead of the trend by quite a bit, and I always knew that the 90’s trends would make a comeback in a big way.
Why wouldn’t they…They were brilliant the first time round, and are just as good today!
Mango Man is a brand I know and love quite well, as you’ll know from reading the blog. I’ve bought quite a lot of stuff from the Spanish brand, and when I saw they had a brand new mini collection, which they call Nautical Time, I had to see what it had to offer.
They say that the clothing is, “Weekend classics for the adventurous soul”. So I’ve taken a look at what they have to offer, and picked out my own edit, with pieces which I think are key to this collection.
If there’s one thing which I love, it’s to try out new products and see how they stack up against the products which I currently use, and in some cases, have been using for years. This is especially true when it comes to hair styling products, so when I had the chance to take a look at the Structure by JOICO I had to see what they were all about.
When it comes to fashion trends, they come and go. It looks like we’re heading for the return of another trend, with a lot of fashion labels embracing it for women, but does it work for men? I am talking about the tie dye trend, which has made an appearance this Spring, and if it will be adopted, should last all summer long.
When it comes to on-trend styles, tie-dye has not been seen for years as something cool, in fact, I can’t remember the last time I saw it. It has roots from the 60’s where it was hugely popular, especially among the hippy set, heavily influenced with the music and festivals.
But it is now back, so will you be picking up any pieces?
Last week one of my favourite denim brands, Nudie Jeans, released a new capsule collection they are calling colors (sadly not colours like it should be! 😉 ). It’s a small collection which really caught my eye, so I decided to feature the 8 piece mini collection, which has a couple of great items.
What’s it all about?
Well Nudie Jeans say, “While browsing the archives of early Nudie Jeans gems we simultaneously had an eye on the vivid history of sportswear. The dual vision spawned a perfect sharp image which came to be the Colors collection.”
What the collection has, is 8 pieces of menswear, which includes a couple of pairs of jeans, a bucket hat, a couple of tees, a button up shirt, pair of socks and a hoodie. As you can imagine with the name, it’s has some items which are a combination of being infused with a little bit of colour, or just incorporate colour within their entire design.
Here’s what caught my eye.
So apparently it’s the Spring Equinox today, so it should officially be the first day of Spring! 🙂
I have been noticing the lighter nights, and that’s a good thing, because it’s closer to the Summer which I love.
Soon we’ll be putting out clocks forward, and Summer will be here in no time. It will mean I have to swap my wardrobe around, from the Autumn/Winter to Spring/Summer in a few weeks time when the weather gets better.
I can’t believe I forgot to write about one of my favourite shows on Amazon which I watched at the back end of last year. I’m talking about the Spanish football documentary, Six Dreams.
As the name suggests, it follows the lives of 6 people involved in in the Spanish Premier League, La Liga, including 3 footballers. The main characters in the film are Iñaki Williams, Saúl Niñguez, Quique Cárcel, Amaia Gorostiza, Andrés Guardado and Eduardo Berizzo.
We’re back for another classic fragrance review, and this time round I am looking at L’Homme Libre from Yves Saint Laurent. I’ve had this one since it’s year of release, 2011, and can’t believe I’ve never gave it a proper feature, because it is quite a nice scent, especially for this time of year.
So this is a bit of a remix from the YSL Homme original scent, something which I’ve never bought or tested, so I sadly can’t compare it. I got this the same time as YSL La Nuit L’Homme which is a scent for the evenings, whereas this is best for day.
