As I mentioned a couple of days ago, it was my birthday, and I got a couple of cool bits of fashion. That includes these 4 tops, namely 2 T Shirts from United Colours Of Benetton and two Henley T Shirts from H&M.
Why did I pick these out? Well…

So this weekend it has been a really nice, chilled out and relaxed kind of affair. It was my birthday, and I wanted to just relax for most of the weekend. It was also Midsummer, which means drinking cider, and wearing what now seems to be my obligatory Midsummer t-shirt…Since I wear it once a year 
I had a couple of drinks of cider, my favourite which is Rekorderlig. The flavours are so good, and I’ve featured the Rekorderlig botanicals on the blog before. If you’ve never tried them now is the perfect time. They go down really well in the Summer.
For my birthday I got some cool clothes, and so I’ll be posting the outfits and what I got over the coming days and weeks. There’s some nice pieces of menswear which I’ve wanted for a while, and since the sales are on, I’ve bought a few more things which I can’t wait to share.
Speaking of menswear…Fashion Friday. Some people asked where it was. I have tons of style and fashion related features for the summer which I need to do (like the latest floral shirt post) which I’ll be doing for a few weeks – So Fashion Friday aka the must have menswear for the week is taking a little break.
Even though the football season is over, since I am a footy fan, I always find some to watch. Yesterday I watched the Spain U21 vs Poland U21, and what a great match it was. Spain won 5-0 and were brilliant. I also caught the penalties in the women’s world cup with Norway & Australia. Later today England will be playing Cameroon, and tomorrow USA vs Spain.
Here’s a pic of my cake, a novelty cake of course which tasted really good. And then my socks, blue and yellow from Jollies, I really like these socks.

As you’ll have read a while back, I have been using one of my favourite men’s scents of all time, Lacoste Cool Blue.
I’ve had it for so many years, it’s quite unique and it’s one of those which has a special place in my heart when it comes to smells.
But as you’ll have read, it’s no longer available, it’s discontinued and so I can’t get it again.
But can we get an alternative? I heard about a fragrance called La Rive Blue Line, and decided to check it out.
If you’ve read my blog in the past couple of months, you’ll have noticed me talking about one thing for this Summer…The Tie Dye Trend. It has made a big comeback from the 1960’s, and seems here to stay for the Summer. We’ve hardly had the weather for in lately, but hopefully that will change very soon.
Last time I was looking at the 90’s band Shampoo, and this time round I am taking a look at another duo, this time from the early 2000’s, M2M.
M2M were a Norwegian pop music duo comprising Marit Larsen and Marion Raven, but I only knew them as M2M. You may have heard of them, or at least one of their songs may be familiar to you, which I’ll get on to.
I love Creed Aventus, but are there any alternatives? The answer is of course there is!
I love all of my fragrances, and if you ask me, it’s not about what is best, but it’s about picking out the right scent for the right moment or occasion.
You don’t need to be big into fragrances to know that for guys, Creed Aventus is one of the most coveted bottles of aftershave a man can buy. It’s one of my favourite scents, but since it’s also a favourite of many others, many giving it the title the king of fragrances.
It’s been getting more and more popular in recent times, and now one of the trends for a lot of guys, I’m finally going to talk about the men’s co-ords trend.
It is of course nothing brand new, I’ve featured myself wearing some menswear which are part of a twin set as far back as a couple of years ago, and it had a fashionable entrance to a lot of guy’s wardrobes before then.
It kind of comes from the women’s side of fashion, with the likes of women’s two pieces, playsuits and their own co-ords being quite a norm. Now more and more guys are wearing coords, some looking good, others not.

How was your weekend?
This weekend has been another good one if you like football…Just when you think the football season is over, it’s not 😀 There’s been some international football, even though it’s not a year for the Euros or World Cup, there’s been a few games on.
Not only do I love 90’s fashion and trends, but I love 90’s music. When it comes to 90’s fashion and music, there’s not much of a better mash up than the duo Shampoo and their style, even if they’re girls. I was listening to their songs and then decided that I’d get the CD album from Amazon.
Yes, the album was actually released in 1994, which seems so crazy to get the CD all these years later. The only song which I knew was Trouble, their biggest hit, and I remember it from being a kid. I don’t remember the other tracks, but when I was listening to that, I tried a few more tracks, loved what I heard, so decided to get the Album which I could, which wasn’t too much money, as you can expect.
