Gumball 3000 x Kappa Collaboration Capsule Launch 2019

Saturday, 1st June, 2019

One of the coolest collaborations of the Summer launched a few days ago at Selfridges between the two iconic brands, Gumball 3000 famed for it’s car adventures stretching 3000 miles, and Kappa, one of the go-to retro sportswear brands of Italy. I was going to feature a few pieces in my last fashion Friday, but I thought the capsule collection deserved to shine in a post of it’s own.

Here’s some of the key pieces from the capsule collection which caught my eye.

Grey Roll Neck For Bank Holiday Monday In Late May

Happy Bank Holiday!

If you’re not in the UK then I apologise, but we have a day off today, it’s the late May bank holiday. This weekend I have had a quiet and chilled out one, as is usually the case for Bank Holidays. Some call them boring, but I do love it when you can do absolutely nothing for a few days, it’s a great period of rest.

Bulldog Skincare Shaving Set Review

Hey guys!

As you’ll know from my blog, I am no stranger to Bulldog Skincare products, and have used a couple of them in my grooming regime. I’ve had one of their shaving sets ready for me to use for a while, since Christmas in fact! I’ve been using other products before, but finally, I’ve had a chance to test the Bulldog razor and shaving products, so here’s what I thought.

Men’s Fashion Trends To Avoid In 2021 – You Should NEVER Wear These

Tuesday, 14th May, 2019

We all want to look good when we wear our clothes, right? I mean, that’s kind of why we buy them, and why we buy what we buy. If we just bought clothing for the sake of it, we’d probably all be running around in the same, cheap and boring stuff.

I spend a lot of time writing about good things, classic timeless pieces, staple menswear, must have items and trends as well as what you should wear and when. But what about things you should avoid?

It’s a bit negative to talk about the terrible fashion mistakes and the trends you should avoid, but I think it’s kind of necessary.

When it comes to your own personal style, you can rock what you want, and everyone will be different, which is cool.

But there’s some things which are just universally terrible, and 2020 trends you really should avoid in my opinion.

Here’s what not to wear, and the trends you should avoid.

Lacoste Cool Play Eau De Toilette For Summer

I was looking through some of my old fragrances and I came across this, Lacoste Cool Play. This bottle of eau de toilette basically sums up why I like fragrances, what got me into them, and separates us who love scents from those who just wear them. Some are just bottles of nice smelling water, while others have a story. This one comes with a story.

Rekorderlig Botanicals Preview - Michael 84

Happy Saturday, It’s the start of another Bank Holiday weekend!

So a few days ago you may have caught on my Instagram stories that I was trying out some Rekorderlig Botanicals, and got some flavours which I haven’t previously had. If you’re unaware, Rekorderlig is a Swedish cider brand, I’ve featured them a fair bit on the blog over the years, and a while ago they released some new flavours, which they are calling botanicals.

I had a couple last year, but I found that they have some more flavours which I hadn’t tried. I thought I would get some bottles which would last me for a little while, they’ll come in perfect for the Summer, my birthday and of course the Swedish Midsummer (Midsummer’s eve falls on my birthday!).

The blackberry-violet-juniper was a flavour which I hadn’t tried before, so I was looking forward to giving that a go.

What do they taste like?

The Best Of H&M Summer Menswear Collection Drop 1: The Edit (2019)

Tuesday, 30th April, 2019

Who else is getting excited for the Summer? It’s now right around the corner, and a lot of clothing brands and labels already have their Summer collections on their sites and in their stores for you to buy right now.

I’ve been checking out what H&M has to offer so far this year. Since it’s still early in the year, there’s likely to be more pieces which will be available later in the year, so I’ll call this drop 1.

I really like H&M clothing. They offer a lot of different style, from staple clothing to one off trend pieces, the quality and price is very good, in my opinion one of the best of the affordable high street brands.

With that said, here’s 9 of the best items you can buy right now.

Snooker 19 Game Review For Xbox One

It seems like only a few weeks ago I heard about a new snooker game which was coming out, Snooker 19 which is officially licenced and the first “official” World Snooker game for a good while. I was excited about this, and couldn’t wait to get it, since it would be the first snooker game I’ve played since the Playstation/PS2 days, and first on the newer consoles.

It was released yesterday, and I got it! But how does this new game stack up to the games of old? Here’s my review.
