For the Autumn/Winter 16 collection, Ted Baker has brought Mission Impeccable, a story based on T.E.D special agents who are brought together to prevent “The Needle” from selling the fabrics he’s stolen and turned into his own twisted creations to the highest bidder.
The story is brought to life in a film which has been directed by Crown & Owels with executive director Guy Ritchie, which is a shoppable experience on the Tedbaker.com website.
Ted Baker has asked me to come up with the ideal outfit for this season, with the pieces from the brand new AW 16 collection from the Mission Impeccable film, which comprises of over 130 pieces ranging from footwear and accessories to smart tailoring and seasonal knits.
I have created this look, which contains a jersey jacket, shirt, knit, trousers and brogues, along with the essentials which are boxer shorts. Here’s more details on the pieces I’ve selected.
First of all the trousers, which are the SETON trousers, navy in colour and are a casual style with five pockets and are made from cotton with some stretch. They work well with the RONICAA suede derby brogues, which come with wingtip detailing and come in a very distinctive but understated brown/burgundy colour which will be a talking point of the outfit.
With the cooler climes of Autumn a jacket is required, and the ANDINO collared jersey jacket is a great choice.
Marl grey in colour means that it will work with virtually any pieces, so will compliment this outfit well. It comes with both zip-up and button options to keep you warm should you not want to wear it open. The long sleeve white shirt with hexagonal print is the TIMBOOK, which works well with the CASHGUY knit which comes in a cashmere blend and navy in colour.
These two pieces work well together, the pattern of the white shirt will show through the knit around the collar area, giving the outfit flashes of details without loosing the minimal contemporary style.
