I have so many products in terms of skincare and general grooming. I have so many that I struggle to use them, so I have decided this year I would have a proper skincare regime and use all my products properly.
Usually I start and then it kinds of fades away, and I just use the essential products. But I am going to really stick to it, and really get the best use out of all my skincare products.
This is my current set up, and the products I’ve been using for my general skincare, face and eyes.
For The Eyes: Ole Henriksen TRUTH Banana Bright Eye Creme
I have had the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme for quite a while, and I did start to use it. But since eye creams aren’t a ritual for me, they’ve always been one of those things I’d start using and then as time goes on forget about using.
I’ve been using this for weeks now and use it every day. My eyes do feel like they are a lot brighter, and I get that Vitamin C smell every time I put on this cream.
Body Wash: Lynx Java
It takes me forever to use up a body wash. I’ve been using my Lynx Java in what seems like forever, but I’m almost finished. I did get this a long time ago, but in that time I have used Molton Brown Re-Charge Black Pepper which lasts a hell of a long time.
Lynx Java made a comeback last year. It’s not one of my favourite smells, especially for a deodorant. But for a body wash, it’s a nice enough scented style of shower gel.
Face Wash: L’Oreal Men Expert Hydra Energetic
When it comes to face washes, I have a ridiculous amount. I hardly ever made an effort using specialised face washes, but now I have. I’ve been using L’Oreal Men Expert Hydra Energetic, and I am happy with it.
Once again it contains vitamin C, and you really do get a whiff of it when you’re applying it to the face. It does feel fresher when I put it on.
Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
I usually rotate with using the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel and the face wash, because I don’t want to put too many harsh products on my face. When using the cleansing gel it does leave me skin feeling really silky smooth. It feels more hydrated, so is a product that I really like.
Face Cream: Nivea Men Creme
For my face cream I have the plain and simple Nivea Men creme. I usually use this on an evening only, kind of like using it as a night cream. I use it on my face and neck, and it makes them feel silky smooth.
I eventually want to buy a dedicated night cream, but I’ve decided it’s best to use up all of the products I have before investing in any more.
And that’s it! Those are the products I’ve been using in February. I have already finished the L’Oreal Men Expert, and almost done with the Lynx Java, so will update this in March to show what I am using next month.
