Burberry Weekend Fragrance Review

This week for my fragrance review I look at another old scent, Burberry Weekend. I got this small bottle quite a few years ago as a gift for Christmas. Weekend was actually launched in 1997, making this almost 20 years old, but despite that, it’s still available.

The bottle is a classic cylindrical aftershave bottle, with a nice solid top engraved with the Burberry text and logo.

What Does Burberry Weekend Smell Like?

The style of this scent is citrus. There is not a lot more to say about it. It’s a no-nonsense citrus smell, with notes of everything green and yellow. Grapefruit, lemon and leafy, it’s light and all about the Spring and Summer months with this one.

Having said that, it’s not a complete citrus overload in respect of it being overpowering, it’s not. The way the citrus is delivered is quite clean and crisp, not overbearing and is perfectly fine if citrus is all you’re looking for in your scent.

If you’re going to a picnic, at the beach or doing a summer activity and want a fragrance for the occasion, this would fit in quite well.

There are better citrus scents out there will a lot more going on, but at the right price it could be considered if you want to boost your fragrance wardrobe and add more green and citrus to it.
