Men’s Pink Denim Jacket From H&M
I’ve had my eye on this pink denim jacket for months now – It’s from H&M, but what do you think?
I really do like the style, Denim jackets are great for Summer, but I am unsure about this one.

I really do like the style, Denim jackets are great for Summer, but I am unsure about this one.
We’re well into the Summer season now, but since this is the UK, it still gets a bit chilly, especially on a night. I love sweats for just sitting around and chilling, there’s nothing better when you’re relaxing than wearing something comfortable. Comfort doesn’t mean sloppy, and if you’re looking for a refresh, H&M have got some pastel sweats for you!
I’ve already got a pink sweatshirt which I love, but they’re back with a slightly different colour which they’re calling apricot. Another colour in the collection is this yellow colour which I really love, perfect for a Summer night or even the day time, and if you want that ultimate clean look, white always looks fresh.
To compliment the sweatshirts, there’s something for your lower half. I’ve often spoke about sweat shorts, and just like the tops, they’re great for when you’re just kicking back and relaxing. These come in matching colours, apricot, white and yellow.
They’re perfect to wear as a pair or separates, if you’re looking to get an upgrade for Summer and up your casual style, these sweats will do it. The sweatshirts come in at £17.99 with the shorts £12.99 each, making a pair come in at just under £31.
The only question is, which colour should you get?
UPDATE – I got the pastel yellow sweatshirt and shorts. Check out my posts here wearing the sweats.
Who’s excited for the World Cup? Yes, I am! There’s plenty of brand new kits which you can be wearing for the competition this year, but if the modern 2018 shirts are not your style, Umbro has came up with the answer. The iconic football kit maker has released it’s Umbro Summer Projects collection, and it’s brilliant!
Any fan of football or 90’s culture will be instantly taken back to the good old days of football, and in particular that infamous Summer of Italia 90. Umbro have created these tops which have clearly been inspired from the early 90’s tops, with countries like Spain, Belgium, Russia, Italy, France and of course, England being represented.
The World Cup is only week’s away, and it’s the first ever appearance for Iceland in the big competition. On the field they’ve got a tough group, having to contend with Argentina, Nigeria and Croatia, and off the field 66 Degrees North has released a capsule collection in time for the tournament.
The collection consists of hoodies, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts and accessories including hat, bumbag, scarf and bag.
Tommy Hilfiger has released a new capsule collection for the Tommy Jeans brand, bringing yet more 90’s culture and retro style to your wardrobe.
There’s been plenty of Tommy Jeans drops in the past few years, all being a massive success, including Summer 2017 and their 90’s inspired 2016 capsule collection. For this year, the capsule collection is 35 piece strong, and includes everything from T-shirts to sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, trainers and accessories such hats, bags and everyone’s 90’s favourite accessory, the bumbag.
Filled with red, white and blue, I have put together a few of my favourites in my style edit, which features key pieces from the collection.
The World Cup is right around the corner, and I am excited! The manufacturers have released all the current kits for the big event, and Adidas has used retro design in their kits, with the majority being inspired from the 90’s. I featured the 2018 Spain kits on the blog when they were released, and now as many predicted, they’ve re-released some reproductions in addition to the match shirts, under the Adidas Originals label.
It seems kind of odd that Adidas would release some vintage retakes of their original kits in exactly the same year as they’ve released brand new versions of football kits which are inspired from those originals, but there you go. There’s a few different teams which are featured, including a few nations which don’t actually exist any more, in West Germany and the USSR.
Let’s take a look in more detail.
I saw a preview of the Aimé Leon Dore Spring/Summer 18 collection a while back, and it’s made it’s way into the UK, and is available to buy now from stockists.
I’ve not covered much from the brand, and it could be a new one to some of you. In a nutshell, Aimé Leon Dore is a brand which was born in Queens New York and is a premium streetwear label. Key pieces are minimalist and clean in design, something which I’ve really embraced in the past few years. We’ve had a lot of Scandi-style from the European brands which I love, and this is another one from America which has a similar aesthetic to those.
For this season, there’s plenty of pieces which cover the pastel hue of the colour palette, something which I really like. There’s toned down colours, the staple black, white, navy and greys as well as some bright colours which really pop.
Here’s my edit and some of the pieces which caught my eye.
Spring is in the air and 1980 Voguish has unveiled pieces from their latest collection for Spring going into the Summer. The season is all about the change in climate and unpredictable weather, the collection has some great transitional pieces getting you from season to season.
Key pieces include lightweight and heavy padded jackets, polo shirts and short sleeve shirts for the upcoming season.
When it comes to colours in style, I am a fan of the staple and toned down colours; Blues, Greys, black and white. But I do love to inject a splash of colour every now and then, here and there.
The new Calvin Klein True Colours Collection is all about bright, bold colours, and have some really nice pieces this season, whether you love to take your colour popping to the max, or just like to add it with one piece of clothing, there’s something available.
Adidas Originals is all about the heritage of the sports and lifestyle brand, and they are coming back with some pretty iconic pieces in the coming weeks with it’s Adicolor collection.
