Marks And Spencer have introduced a line of premium selvedge denim jeans to their fashion line up for this season. If you’ve read my 5 pairs of denim you should own guide, you’ll know that I love selvedge denim, and it’s a type of denim which is quite coveted, and popular among denim connoisseurs.
The range is new for AW16 and is made from premium fabrics from mills in United States, Japan and Italy, all three noted for their high quality fabrics and workmanship.
The range come in a couple of washes, including a light mid-blue wash, and my two favourites, dark indigo and black, as well as two fits; Slim and straight leg.
The selvedge detailing can be found on the inseam of the leg as you would expect, with more selvedge detailing on the front pocket. On the inside of the jeans you’ll find where the jeans were made, as the countries flag is printed on the inside.
You can pick up a pair of these for £60 from M&S and join the selvedge club, or add a pair to your collection.
Check out more of the jeans below.
You can see how I style these in my what to wear with selvedge jeans guide which includes lots of outfit images and ideas on how to style this type of denim.
