Over the past few months I have been thinking about trying new beer. You’ll have to forgive me, when I say beer I am using the word for all “ale”, so I apologise for that off the bat.
I was never really into the whole ale thing, and just drank the usual lager you’d find in most bars or shops. But then I kind of wanted to experiment a bit.
Recently I got a double pack of Goose Island IPA. Included were a few cans of Goose Island IPA and Midway IPA, what they call a session IPA.
It seems so weird to say that. 2021 went over in a flash, and so did 2020. It doesn’t feel like we’ve had years just pass us by, but that is what has happened.
It’s also the longest break I think I have taken on the blog, with my last post being on Christmas Eve.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year, and are looking forward to the year ahead.
The boys are back. The Grand Tour has returned for it’s 2nd lockdown special, The Grand Tour: Carnage A Trios.
This time round Clarkson, Hammond and May delve deep into the world of French car culture.
You can watch this episode which is part of season 4 on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s what to expect if you haven’t seen it yet. (with no or little spoilers)
A few week’s back we went to the Hard Rock Café in Newcastle for some food and drinks. I was quite looking forward to it, after having been to many Hard Rock Cafes around the world.
It’s cool that Newcastle has one, and they are always worth a look.
If you’ve been to others, or have never been to any, here’s how I found my Newcastle Hard Rock experience.
A few weeks ago I was out and happened to find these two books: Something’s Off by Virgil Abloh and Soled Out by Sneaker Freaker.
I had seen both books online but when I was out I wasn’t shopping for them, and came across them both by chance. I was thinking about getting them for a few weeks, and decided that I’d go out and get them.
Gamesmaster is back! That means nothing if you didn’t live in the 90’s or like computer games, but if you did then you’ll know what a great time this is.
It had it’s hay day in the early to late 90’s, in the times of NES and SNES, Master System and Mega Drive, and later the Playstation, Saturn and N64 days.
This time round the new Gamesmaster (oracle, guru or whatever you’d like to call him) is Trevor McDonald, and I can’t wait to see it.
