My Soft Kitty T Shirt

Wednesday, 30th November, 2011

So you will have seen my Pink Panther T Shirt, Johnny Bravo T Shirt and Speedy Gonzales Tee…Now I have this, The Soft Kitty T Shirt 😀

Soft kitty, warm kitty little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr. I love it!

Of course is the fron The Big Bang Theory, so if you are a fan of the show you will know the phrase, if not then I guess you won’t.

The quality is really really good, and I am very pleased with it. Super soft, comfortable and a great fit. I had lots of trouble trying to find this in a mens style, most sell it in a womens fitted tee, but I eventually found it.

My Pink Panther Cougar T Shirt

Tuesday, 29th November, 2011

I was browsing around the Internet looking for fashion and t shirts like I usually do, and found this t-shirt. I have bought a few cartoon inspired t shirts very recently as you will know if you read my blog, the Johnny Bravo T Shirt and the Speedy Gonzales one too. Now I have this:

The Pink Panther T Shirt. “I’m just a panther lookin’ for a cougar“. haha love it!! When I saw it I had to have it, it will be pretty good for a night out 🙂

The t-shirt is (apparently) an officially licenced print, and is printed in a vintage style. The t-shirt is a nice fit and is soft cotton, and cost £25. The shirt style body is tubular, and for that kind of money I would want side seems as they are usually better quality, fit and last longer, having said that this is still a really nice tee 🙂

To be seen soon out and about in the town in Newcastle 😉

What do you think?

Spain 2012 Goalkeeper Shirt – Casillas Spain Shirt

Saturday, 19th November, 2011

Here it is, my newest pride and joy in terms of football shirts, it is the new Spain Goalkeeper shirt for 2011-13, i.e. the one worn in the Euro 2012 competition.

As I have done for a few years now, I bought this direct from Spain, since you cannot get them here in the UK (not that I have ever seen). I could have got this last week, but I held off, because I wanted to wait for the place to get the official printing so I could have it printed, which this is.

Number 1 and Casillas of course 😉 Something interesting about the printing…Casillas has “I Casillas” printed (i.e. Iker Casillas) on this shirt, something he has never had before for Spain. I noticed that it was printed this way against England, instead of just “Casillas”. I am unsure as to why this is, and if he will have the “I Casillas” printing on his shirts in the future for Spain, but this one has that. I know some players do have this, e.g. A.Iniesta, and Torres used to have F.Torres; But Casillas has never had this to my knowledge.

Here is the back:

I really like the design. The numbers look plain and boring from a distance, but they are a little bit graphical. The actual shirt itself is a nice design, with the star for the World Champions of course, all these Spain shirts are made primary for the Euro’s, in the neckline it has the “Campeones De Europa” (european champions) wording with the years, and this shirt lacks the world cup winners gold badge the previous shirt had, something which will probably return for the shirt they have during the next world cup.

Here are some close up pics, so you can see all the details.

Fenwicks Window 2011

Saturday, 12th November, 2011

It is that time of the year again, Christmas so it means Fenwicks window. There were a few people there today, so I did not get a good pic close up, but here are a few pics for you. I may update it later with more pics. It is a generic christmas theme again this year 🙂

My Entourage T-Shirts

Saturday, 24th September, 2011

I was having a browse around the HBO website because it was the final Entourage recently, and the U.S. store had lots of auction items which were cool, but only available to the U.S. customers which is pretty shit! 🙁 But, I did find some t-shirts which they do, I never really knew that they did them so it was a nice surprise. I had to order some, and they came today! This is what I got:

Johnny’s Bananas! I saw this and thought I had to get it. Johnny goes bananas! 😛

Drama is known for many quotes, this one “won” the HBO Facebook competition. I could actually have found a few better quotes, but this one is still good. “I’ve been working steady for the past 12 years. Minus the last three”. haha! 😀

The show which Johnny Drama “starred” in…Viking Quest! 😀 Also the show he is ridiculed for being in for most of the first few seasons on Entourage. I still love it! VICTORY!!!!! 😉

Its funny that Vince is the star of the show, but all my tees feature Drama, I guess he is subliminally my favourite character although I love them all. He probably gives the most entertainment 😛

About the t-shirts – I was sort of disappointed, because they are clearly just blanks which have been printed on; They still have the generic label in the neck. Since I am a t-shirt guy I know the brand, and it sort of spoils the authentic-ness of these shirts, they are official HBO Entourage t-shirts, but it looks like anyone could have done them. On the positive side, I know the brand they have used, and I know they are good quality, and by feeling them I know they are too 🙂 They are worth the £16 each.

Geordie Dictionary by Michael

Sunday, 1st May, 2011

Since Geordie Shore is coming, I thought I would write a dictionary for the Geordie you might hear 😀 Everyone knows some Geordie words, like Haway the lads and Byker Grove, and yes, people ask me to say those things all the time on holiday

So, I thought I would make a dictionary/translator type of post, so if you watch Geordie Shore you will know what they are saying, or if you are just interested in the Geordie accent and dialect.

I will give you some words and some sentences. I will write most phonetically, since its slang/dialect there probably isnt really a “correct” way of spelling for some words. p.s. many are taken from old norse, as are some Scandinavian words, so they are similar to some Scandinavian words too 🙂

What do these Geordie Words Mean?

So you’ve probably heard lots of Geordie words, phrases, language and sayings so you’re probably wondering what they mean. Here is a little list to get you started on what the words mean. There was huge interest in my last post about Take Me Out when it was on. It was a great programme, and now its back! Starting next week, 11th December.

I cant wait for the show, we will have to see who makes it on, and see what they look like.

Whos looking forward to it, and who cant stand it 😛

I wonder if they keep any girls from the last series, I hope they dont, it would sort of ruin it.

Fenwick Christmas Window 2010 - Scene 1

Fenwicks in Newcastle is famous for its Christmas window. It sometimes has themes, I think this year they just went for a generic Christmas type theme.

Here are some pics, they aren’t the best, there were loads of people at the window as you would expect. Its big, so I took a few shots of the different “scenes”.

As always there was the standard glare from the windows, but I have tried to get the best photos I could from the day.

These few shots were taken from my phone, so not great quality, but you can still get a sense of the Christmas Window at Fenwick this year.
