We’re gearing up for summer and we’re halfway through May so It’s time for another roundup of the latest trainer releases which have caught my eye.
There’s been a few pair from the heavy hitters that are Nike and Adidas, with a couple of pair really standing out for their design.
Here’s the latest trainers from the best trainer brands for May 2023.
Inter Milan x Air Max 97
First up is a limited edition and collaboration from Nike and Inter Milan. If you like Inter, Serie A or Italian football these trainers are going to be something you’ll like.
They use the Nike Air Max 97 silhouette and combine that with the colours of the Inter Milan stripe. What you get is a black and dark blue pair of trainers that look really sleek.

Adidas x Bape Forum 84 Low
Another great collab, Adidas x Bape Forum 84 are here. Celebrating 30 years, these trainers come in some signature BAPE camo blue colours that really make you stand out.
The design is so distinctive, with the 30 metal plate on the laces, A Bathing Ape Velcro strap and blue outsole. These come in at £160.
Nike Dunk Low Prm Red
It wouldn’t be another release month without talking about a pair of Nike Dunks. These are the Dunk Low PRM Red.
These are slated as a women’s trainer, but the colourway is quite obviously unisex. The red and white uppers come with an off-white colour pair of laces which matches the off-white midsole.
These cost £110 right now.
Nike Air Max 1 Slide
With summer right around the corner, Nike have released a pair of Air Max 1 slides for 2023. This isn’t the first time these have appeared, but this time round it’s the big bubble and in an OG red and white colourway.
If you’re looking for flip flops or sliders, these could be the ones. I’ve always wanted to try a pair, and for £72 so can you. They’re probably only worth it if you’re into wearing sliders a lot, which I’m not.
