The Best Trainers For May 2022 From Nike And Adidas

We’re well into May, and there’s been a couple of pairs of trainers which have caught my eye this month.

These are the latest trainers from Nike and Adidas which have been making waves this month.

Gucci x Adidas Gazelle Trainers

First up I have to talk about the Gucci x Adidas Gazelle trainers. There’s been a collaboration with Gucci and Adidas which isn’t new, they’ve released a few pairs of trainers in the recent past, but these are new.

One of the best and most iconic pairs of Adidas, the Gazelle’s have been given the luxury treatment by Gucci. That comes in the way of the monogram pattern covering the whole upper, with a gum sole.

This collab comes in a few different colourways, others being more toned down. I have picked out the monogram pattern since it’s the most standout, and if you’re dropping serious money on trainers, you’ve got to go with something special.

These come in at £575 and are released this month if you can find any.

Nike LeBron IX Low White Lime and Bright Mango

Bright colours and living up to their name, these are the Nike LeBron IX Low White Lime and Bright Mango.

These Air Max are colourful, come with a summer print graphic on the midsole and the infamous Air Max air visible air sole. The tongue is an interesting design, no Nike swoosh or wording, instead both making way for the Lebron signature.

They look surprisingly clean for having so much going on, and you can’t forget about the back matte gold plate with the crown denoting “King James”.

Nike Air Max 1 Light Madder Root and Worn Blue

Colourful but toned down hues, these are the Nike Air Max 1 Light Madder Root and Worn Blue.

The muted tones of pastel blue, green, pink and beige work well together in this trainer. Made from a mesh and suede upper, they look a very calm and chilled out design good for summer.

Air Max 97 Off Noir

The sweeping lines are always a good thing to see, that is what the Nike Air Max 97 silhouette is all about. This time round comes the Off Noir colourway.

It’s a two tone design, with black and white being used. These come with reflective weaves, and the visible air sole which go almost all the way around the trainer.
