There’s no real secret that Summer is my favourite season, but when it comes to clothing and dressing, Autumn is right up there with the best time to buy and wear clothing. Why? It’s because it seems like there’s so much more choice to wear, and of course layering helps too.
There’s already plenty of jumpers for this season, but H&M have recently released some more brilliant clothes for your Autumn and Winter wardrobe, with it’s H&M Edition line having you covered for all your knitwear.
They have a huge collection of jumpers, cardigans, pull overs and all kinds of jumpers you could possibly want, sporting a wide range of colours to brighten up, or tone down your look.
Here’s some of my favourite pieces.
If you don’t know about the H&M Edition line, it’s a more premium range from the company, which is more known for it’s cheap basics, and good priced essential and trend pieces. Edition uses the best fabrics and has the best cuts, with modern and traditional styles, which are essential for your wardrobe year after year.
I’ve picked out 9 of my favourites, and here they are.
I really do love a good cardigan, and if I didn’t already own so many, I would seriously consider this one. A grey cardigan made from 100% cashmere with two front pockets. It has a V neck, and comes with a button placket. It’s £99.99
If you want to brighten up the darker days, red is a good colour to do it. Cable knits are always cool, and this is no exception. The red cable knit is a jumper to be seen in, and can easily be layered. Made of wool & a hint of cashmere, it’s £79.99
Another favourite, polo necks, or roll necks are a good choice if you want something different in your jumper collection. 100% cashmere, this costs £99.99 and looks stylish in navy blue.

The V-neck jumper is a great piece for layering, and looks effortlessly smart with a shirt. I’ve already got one similar to this, which is 100% merino wool, and comes in a dark grey colour which looks stylish. You can get this for £34.99 and it comes in a range of colours too.
If you want to add some texture to your look, one way of doing it would be a ribbed knit, which is what this polo neck is. Ribbed knits add a bit of dimension to your jumper, so if that’s the look you’re trying to achieve, you can pick up this one for £119.99 which comes in a cashmere blend.
I love this bright blue colour of this 100% cashmere jumper. This is one of the stand out pieces from the collection, and it comes in a large collection of colours. This blue really stands out, and comes in at £79.99.
A knitted jumper which looks cosy, it’s part alpaca and comes in a light grey colour, perfect for when the temperatures drop. You can get this for £69.99.
Finally black is a colour which never goes out of style, so I’ve had to include it in this guide. A 100% merino wool roll neck should be considered when you’re looking at having a knitwear refresh, and this is a good one. If black is too cold, it comes in other neutral colours. You can get one of these for £34.99.
Adding any one of these to your wardrobe is such a good idea this season. You’ll not regret spending that little bit extra on the 100% merino or cashmere, it does last as long as you take good care of it, and choosing a staple colour means it will always be in fashion and stylish.
