The excitement of getting a brand new phone…It’s been a while! Six years in fact, but I have finally found a worthy successor to my beloved iPhone 6, the iPhone SE.
What upgrade some may say…The iPhone SE looks very familiar, and that’s not a bad thing.
Here’s everything you need to know about the iPhone SE, if you should upgrade, and that all important camera test.
Is it the worst kept secret ever, or was it just wishful thinking that came true? Either way, yesterday Apple announced a new phone to it’s line up, the iPhone SE.
If you’re like me and you don’t like huge phones, this could be an interesting device.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new iPhone SE, including how and when you can get it in the UK.
It’s 2020 now, and the iPhone 6 will be 6 years old this year, which is a dinosaur in tech terms. There’s been 6 upgrades since 2014, including the latest which is the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro, depending on what you get.
So the question is: Is an iPhone 6 still good in 2020?
Well I still have one, and in fact I use it. So the answer is yes, it’s perfectly good to use for day to day usage.
Here’s what it’s like to use, and why I haven’t bothered to upgrade.
If you like gaming then you’ll know that Sony were releasing a mini PlayStation in the run up to Christmas, and as soon as I heard, I had to order one. I loved my original PlayStation as did many others, and so it was obvious that I’d buy this.
It costs £89.99, but how does it play, and is it worth it? Here’s my full review.
Yesterday morning I went on to Twitter and saw PlayStation was trending, and it was something which I didn’t expect, Sony announced a new retro console, the PlayStation Classic!
It will come with 20 games, the list has not been released, only a few of the games have been officially announced – They will be Ridge Racer 4, Final Fantasy 7, Jumping Flash, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.
Earlier today Apple announced their latest lineup of next generation smart phones; the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. As with all things Apple, it’s drawn a lot of comments, criticism, and hype around the 2018 range of iPhones.
To get straight to the point: You can get your hands on one of these phones as soon as 21st September, with pre-orders taking place on 13th September, starting at £999; The XR is a cheaper model at £749, but you’ll have to wait until October for these.
I have needed a new monitor for around a year. You’ve probably seen my set up, and I run 2 monitors side by side which I’ve done for years, and now can’t live without. Last year one of my monitors kind of broke; It still worked but it took a lifetime to ‘warm up’, actually around 15 minutes, and it was pretty unusable until it did. But since it wasn’t completely broken, I just painfully lived with it for the past year, knowing I wanted to get a new one, but not knowing which one I wanted.
It’s a question and debate which has raged on for years, and it will probably continue to do so until the end of time. Everyone has their opinion, most have a preference, so I will be talking about which is best? Apple Mac or PC.
It’s a general computing question, but it’s also one bloggers often talk about, there’s always rumblings in the blogosphere about which is better, with everyone giving their less than experienced opinion.
Having a fashion blog like Michael 84 I want something not only powerful but stylish too. Design is important, Macs have them, but these days so do PC laptops too.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock or you just don’t care, you’ll know that the Super Nintendo Classic Mini was announced a few days ago, and once again Nintendo has got people excited!
It has only just been officially announced by Nintendo and not released, and it’s immediately sold out. Nintendo had it up on their site which lasted a few minutes before it sold out, it sold out at Amazon, and Game has some pre orders available, and now they’re gone too.
Actually, I have had it for a couple of weeks and have been playing around with it; It’s the Canon 80D!
I bought my first and only DSLR back in 2012 and it was the Canon 600D. It’s been a good camera to me, and I’ve taken it so many places and made some great memories with it. I decided that I’d upgrade to something a little better, and after waiting for a long time, after lots of reading and making up my mind, I went for a Canon 80D.
