Fred Perry Pink Striped T Shirt Try On - Outfit Of The Day

Are you enjoying summer so far?

We’re still in t-shirt weather, and so I have a new T-shirt outfit. This is my Fred Perry Pink Stripe T Shirt, and here’s how I style it, and everything you need to know about it.

It’s my second new tee from the brand, I wrote about my black Fred Perry striped T Shirt a couple of weeks back. This has a similar style design, but has a few differences, including the material, colours and design.

The Design

Fred Perry has a lot of striped designs, it’s became a bit of a trademark of their summer offerings. Although stripes can be viewed as very casual, Fred Perry always seem to do them in a clean and tasteful way.

This makes their designs cool to wear, and you can wear them casually, and even upgrade them to a smart casual outfit if it suits.

I like this pink, which I would describe as a dusty pink colour. It’s complimented with the stripes across the chest in a light blue and dark blue colour, which work well together.

It’s finished off with a small Fred Perry logo, embroidered in navy that sets off the design well.

The Fit

I like the fit of the t-shirt, which I would describe as regular, close to semi-fitted. It fits well, it’s long enough to the hips, and the sleeves are also a nice length too.

I prefer it when t-shirts have just a little bit of length to them along with a slightly fitted cut. It makes the silhouette of the top look really good, and a much better fit in general.

The Feel

While the other Fred Perry tee was a pique cotton type which has a honeycomb texture, this one is smooth. It’s silky smooth, and the cotton feels good quality and a medium weight, while still being cool to wear.

What To Wear With This Fred Perry T-Shirt

I paired up this pink Fred Perry T Shirt with a pair of Indigo jeans by PRPS. When it comes to combining colours, pink works well with dark blue, as can be seen with the stripes in the design.

Alternatives could be black denim, which would give this look a lot more contrast. Overall I think that the dark blue jeans were a better choice, especially in summer.

All in all I am happy with this t-shirt, I can see myself wearing this a lot in plenty of different situations. It can be worn as a daily tee, but I can also see myself wearing something like this on holiday.
