Here are some of the events from Newcastle Fashion week 2011:
Today was the day when I got my Versace Cruise for H&M products! As I have already mentioned I completely forgot about this being released, I must of been asleep or something 😀 but luckily I was able to get lots of great things, probably most that I want out of the collection, apart from the dressing gown 🙁 I have seen a few images of it and it looks amazing! I would buy it if it comes available, it might, so watch this space 😉
So you will have seen my Pink Panther T Shirt, Johnny Bravo T Shirt and Speedy Gonzales Tee…Now I have this, The Soft Kitty T Shirt 😀
Soft kitty, warm kitty little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr. I love it!
Of course is the fron The Big Bang Theory, so if you are a fan of the show you will know the phrase, if not then I guess you won’t.
The quality is really really good, and I am very pleased with it. Super soft, comfortable and a great fit. I had lots of trouble trying to find this in a mens style, most sell it in a womens fitted tee, but I eventually found it.
I was browsing around the Internet looking for fashion and t shirts like I usually do, and found this t-shirt. I have bought a few cartoon inspired t shirts very recently as you will know if you read my blog, the Johnny Bravo T Shirt and the Speedy Gonzales one too. Now I have this:
The Pink Panther T Shirt. “I’m just a panther lookin’ for a cougar“. haha love it!! When I saw it I had to have it, it will be pretty good for a night out 🙂
The t-shirt is (apparently) an officially licenced print, and is printed in a vintage style. The t-shirt is a nice fit and is soft cotton, and cost £25. The shirt style body is tubular, and for that kind of money I would want side seems as they are usually better quality, fit and last longer, having said that this is still a really nice tee 🙂
To be seen soon out and about in the town in Newcastle 😉
What do you think?
I got these t shirts and I think they are really great. I love these kinds of retro t shirts now, I think they are really cool and more and more labels are producing great graphics now and many people are wearing them.
I picked up a Johnny Bravo T Shirt and a Speedy Gonzales Arriba Arriba tee.
Johnny Bravo, such a legend and such a hero. JB will always stand for Johnny Bravo. What Would Johnny Braavo Do? That is the question we should all ask ourselves before doing pretty much anything 😛
I love this print, it is so good and is done in a retro style. The character is familiar of course, Speedy Gonzales, with his trademark phrase “Arriba Arriba Andale Andale!”. This t-shirt is such great quality, and is a longer length and a more fitted style than your standard tee which I love.
What do you think of retro/cartoon/tv style printed graphic t-shirts? Like I have said I really do like them. I think it brings out the personality of people, you have to not take yourself so seriously to wear something like this which is always a good thing. The characters are important too, things like Johnny Bravo and Speedy Gonzales brings back good memories for me, and probably others of my age.
I like having cult characters, not necessarily the most popular of the time, but memorable. I have seen a Doug (the cartoon from Nickelodeon) T Shirt which I have been thinking of buying for a long time. Not a big name cartoon, but those who remember it would love it 😀 I used to watch it all the time!
I have a few more tees coming soon, if you like these you may like them, stay tuned 😉
So, Versace for H&M, I have blogged about it for a while, you have seen the collection, I finally got a few things, and here is what I got 🙂
More pics this way…
Finally bought, and finally on my blog, my Barbour jacket! 😀
When I went to look at the jackets I was going to go for the Powell jacket in black, it was the one I wanted and liked. Unfortunately they did not have it in a Medium, and after trying on the large and a medium of a couple of other style Barbours, I wanted to get the medium.
The one I went for was the Chelsea Polar Quilt. Like the Powell it has a fleece lining which was one of the things I wanted to go for, this is a jacket I will wear mostly in the winter and want it to be warm as well as stylish, so this was perfect for me. It is really smart, simple and sleek with no big logos or patches, the other thing I was looking for as I will be wearing this as a smart but warm jacket for a night out.
The main difference I could tell from this to the Powell was the outer shell. This one has a more cotton feel rather than a silky polyester feel, but it still feels very nice. It has some extra little touches too, such as the suede collar and cuff detailing, which is a nice finish.
I did not know that Barbour was from South Shields when I was gonna buy one, which makes it even cooler, since I am supporting the North East, where I am from 😀
The Barbour Chelsea Quilt cost £150 and I got it from Fenwicks. Is a Barbour Jacket worth it? Last year everyone was buying a Barbour, it looks like this winter is no different.
More pics….
