Adidas Originals continue their revival of the EQT line this Autumn with some more pieces reminding all of us of retro 90’s sportswear. For me, the EQT line is all about thatgreen colour, and once again that trademark hue is at the forefront of the line up, along with the athletic and equipment Adidas logo. Growing up in the 90’s we seen the equipment logo a lot, and some of these designs are reminiscent to the Liverpool kits of the early 90’s.
Just a gimmick, or are these loud shirts actually stylish?
I have to say that I am starting to like them, they are another item to have in your wardrobe that you can pull out every now and then to give yourself some individuality in a world where a lot of guys are wearing the same things this summer.
If you’re looking for a men’s fashion trend which may not be your usual style, the Hawaiian shirt could be something to consider to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
For my outfit of the week I have gone for a smarter look, with this suit by French Connection.
I really like the smarter look, jackets and blazers are always a good thing to have. You can dress them up in a full suit for a smart look, or dress them down with a nice plain tee and pair of jeans to create a smart laid back look.
Suit up boys, it’s time for Prom! Back in the good old days it was the school dance, but in the UK we’re taking on American culture and calling it the Prom, and occasionally the leavers ball or summer ball.
As the school year is ending, you’ll be gearing up for your prom, so you need to make sure you get your clothing right, it’s time to fix up and look sharp and make sure you’re looking on point for the night.
For a girl it’s about a prom dress, quite straight forward, but for a guy the choice is for more varied, and you’ll want to get it right so you not only look good but feel confident in what you’re wearing.
Check out some fashion advice, tips and ideas on what to wear to your school Prom.
Adidas Originals have announced the upcoming release of the iconic Campus silhouette for Summer 2017, which sees the shoe that went from Sport to Street in the downtown New York scene. Originals collaborates with Blondey McCoy, Na-Kel Smith, Tavia Bonetti and Tiffany Lighty to celebrate the brave, bold attitude of the Campus shoe in the No Time to Think campaign.
As you know I love the 90’s clothing brands which have been going for a few years, and one of the biggest clothing labels which has really embraced the retro vibes has been Tommy Hilfiger. They’ve brought back the Tommy Jeans menswear for a reboot last year, not just once, but two mini collections.
The Summer is here, and they’ve come back with some colours perfect for the Summer, and keep the classic 90’s style with a summer edge to it.
The four hues which are available in a few styles are called Lemon Meringue, Quartz Pink, Corydalis Blue, and Dusty Aqua. These are backed up with the staple colours white, navy and grey.
Summer is right around the corner, and the menswear brands have been getting ready for some time, with a lot of brands and labels having their clothing ready to go for Summer! I’ve noticed a few really nice pieces from H&M this year, so here’s my edit from their Summer 2017 Collection part 1;
No doubt they’ll be adding more and more as the season progresses.
First of all H&M do a lot of fast fashion, that means pieces are continually being added all the time. It also means that most things are quite inexpensive, so if you’re looking to add one or two pieces to your wardrobe it’s perfect.

Spring has arrived, and with it, it’s brought a new fashion trend. Several weeks ago I read that the pantone colour of the year 2017 was green, specifically a green they call Greenery, which is quite a dirty, mid-to-light green, quite a solid colour.
There’s been lots of fashion produced in this colour for this season too, as well as other shades of green, signalling it could be big for Spring, but for me, it’s not. A great colour for spring style, at least the first half, is pink!
Coat – ASOS | Jeans – Armani Black | Cashmere Black Knit | Kurt Geiger Brogues | Barbour Scarf
You should know about one of the biggest trends of the Winter if you’ve been reading my blog, it is of course the Camel Overcoat Trend, and I decided it’s one which I cannot let pass by, so I got myself a coat!
It’s actually a long story, I had my eye on a Jaeger coat for a while, it was finally in the sale just before Christmas, I ordered it and was excited for it to come…Then on the delivery day Jaeger decided to email me and let me know that actually they had no stock and could not deliver it. I was disappointed, and then it got worse; They mysteriously go the jacket back in stock in my size, however it was now at full price! Hmmm…
Anyway my search went on, and although these camel overcoats look quite similar, there are a few small differences in them, and as you’ll know it’s all in the details. First of all I wanted a placket which had the buttons on show, the Jaeger one actually had a hidden placket but I was going to go ahead with that one as it was good in other ways. Secondly I wanted it to be camel colour (obviously!) and also have pockets which were vertical and not slanted; I prefer these on trousers too so that nothing falls out. I wanted a bit of a lapel collar, and a chest pocket would be great too. I wanted mostly wool composition, which usually signifies better quality, single breasted and a vented back. I finally found one which I loved at ASOS, and so I got it!
I think the fit is good which is always important, and it’s definitely something which I’ll be wearing throughout the Winter as a Winter coat when I need a more smart option as opposed to my Canada Goose.
I styled the coat with an all black outfit which included a black cashmere knit and black Armani jeans, along with a pair of brown Kurt Geiger brogues and my scarf is Made In Scotland from Barbour.
