It’s been a pretty busy week in February, although it’s the shortest that doesn’t mean not much happened.

In the world of fashion and lifestyle there was plenty happening on the blog, Valentines Day, lots of style guides and of course trainer releases.

I love watches, they are just brilliant! Apparently lots of people tend to disagree, which is why I highlighted why you need to wear a watch.

It’s one of the few pieces of jewellery that a man wears, so it’s important to not only wear one, but to get it right.

Binge Worthy Box Sets In 2023

There is so much great TV on right now it’s unreal!

I seem to be watching series after series, and binge watching the ones I’ve loved over the past few years too.

There’s been a new Clarkson’s Farm, a new series called Funny Woman, The Last Of Us which is epic and so many more coming this year too.

I take a fresh look at the best box sets you can sit down and watch right now from the big streaming providers such as Amazon Prime Video, and traditional platforms like SKY, BBC and All 4.

Can You Wear Black And Navy Together?

There’s so many style questions which are asked all the time, one being can you wear black and navy together?

Well I’ve answered it, and spoiler alert, yes you can! I take a look at some pieces of clothing which you can wear together, including black jeans with blue tops, and blue jeans with black shirts.

The Latest Trainer Releases For February 2023

It was a pretty decent month in the trainer world, with some good trainers released in February this year.

A few pair of high tops were complimented by the return of the Air Max 1, one of my favourite Nike silhouettes.

Floris London Discovery Set

When it comes to fragrance houses, so many are releasing what they call discovery sets or explorer sets. Basically, that’s small or sample bottles of fragrances to try.

I saw that Floris had a few small bottles in their sale, so decided to create my own. I made my own Floris discovery set, featuring some of their fragrances which I had never tried.

That includes Edwardian Bouquet, Vert Fougere, Lily Of The Valley and Soulle Ambar.

What Colour Shoes To Wear With A Navy Suit

Another style question was answered this month. What colour shoes to wear with a navy suit. There’s plenty of options, but for me, I prefer wearing black or brown shoes.

Black keeps the outfit looking sleek, while brown gives off a lot of contrast and gives a talking point.

I’ve shared a few outfits and other style tips, including exactly how a navy suit looks with different colour shoes.

Adidas Icon Goalkeeper Shirts: Mexico & Germany

It was an exciting time in football shirts too. I got some of the 90’s inspired goalkeeper shirts which Adidas brought out last year.

I saw them in the sale and couldn’t resist. I got the Germany icon goalkeeper shirt as well as the Mexico goalkeeper shirt. Since I already had the Spain one the only missing one from the collection is Argentina, which didn’t seem to be on sale in the UK.

Jo Malone Oud And Bergamot Fragrance Review

When it comes to fragrance reviews, I updated my Jo Malone Oud And Bergamot fragrance review for this year. I go into the scent, how good it smells and it’s disappointing longevity.

A good scent, but it just doesn’t last.

And that’s what’s featured on the blog this month. As you can see, it’s been a busy old month at Michael 84, with this month looking to be just as busy.
