Boss The Scent Le Parfum For Men Review

I have recently got another new scent, and it’s a pretty good one at that. This is Boss The Scent Le Parfum, from the ever growing The Scent range of fragrances by Hugo Boss.

It’s not the first scent I own from this range, so here’s what this one is all about, and that all important smell test.

Only a couple of weeks ago I wrote about Boss The Scent Elixir, the latest scent from this range. I got that one from Hugo Boss, but this one I received as a gift, because let’s face it, if you’re going to get me something, a new aftershave it going to be an easy gift for me.

Boss The Scent Le Parfum was released in 2022, and comes 9 years after the original EDT release.

What Does Boss The Scent Le Parfum Smell Like?

As soon as I smell Boss The Scent Le Parfum I get a strong hint of purple notes. The Scent Le Parfum smells like an aromatic, warm spicy scent with powdery and soft woody notes.

Boss The Scent Le Parfum for men is an amber fragrance.

At the top there is ginger and a red fruity note, with soft woody notes, leather and iris being very strong in this one.

All of this results in a spicy warm kind of scent, with some powdery scent on the dry down.

There is a leather accord at the base, but this is very subtle and almost not there at all.

It’s quite an elegant smell, good for a modern man and is masculine without being old fashioned.

How Long Does Boss The Scent Le Parfum Last?

Boss The Scent Le Parfum is an eau de parfum, so you would expect it to last a while. I was able to get around 6 hours with this one, which isn’t a great deal of time, but it’s plenty enough to get you through most nights.

How Strong Is Fragrance?

The Scent Le Parfum isn’t an overly strong scent. It’s quite subtle, which is a good thing, and is nice when you want to smell good without being over-bearing.

The scent is certainly strong enough to smell on yourself, and those around will be able to smell it too.

How Many Sprays Do You Need?

When it comes to the number of sprays needed for The Scent Le Parfum, I would say the usual amount you spray will work fine.

For myself I would have 7 sprays of this. Wrists, 2x neck, 2x chest and the back of the neck.

Fragrance Pros And Cons

Boss The Scent Le Parfum Bottle

Boss The Scent Le Parfum Bottle By Hugo Boss

The bottle for The Scent Le Parfum follows the same style as the same bottles as the other fragrances in the line.

It’s a glass cylindrical shaped bottle which has panel detailing and has copper colour detailing.

This comes with the copper colour to upper part of the bottle, copper top and atomiser.

The front has the BOSS logo debossed in the glass, with Hugo Boss Le Parfum written in the same copper gold colour.

I have a 50ml bottle, with 100ml bottles also being available.

What Clothes To Wear With The Scent Le Parfum

As I see this as a more elegant fragrance for a night, I would say that you should wear clothing to match. This could be smart casual, smart and formal clothing.

A good pairing for this fragrance would be a suit, a white shirt or wearing both. In the colder temperatures a good clean sweater would also work with this, the key is to dress smart and it will be the perfect pairing with this scent.

When To Wear The Scent Le Parfum

As I’ve already went into, I think that Boss the Scent Le Parfum is best worn on an evening and in the colder weather. That makes it a good fragrance to wear in both autumn and winter.

It’s best worn in a more formal setting, a time where you would get dressed up. It doesn’t have to be super formal, but if you’re going to a restaurant, out with the lads or date night, The Scent Le Parfum would work.

Who Is The Scent Le Parfum For?

When it comes to who would wear this best, I think that Boss The Scent Le Parfum is best suited to 23+ men.

It has that mature style, but not so mature that guys in their 20’s would feel out of place. The perfect age bracket would be 30’s, those looking for a more mature refined smell without it being too old.

Is The Scent Le Parfum Worth It?

When it comes to deciding whether The Scent Le Parfum is worth it, it really does depend. If you’re looking for an amber style of smell this is going to be worth trying out, as it’s a nice, inviting style of scent.

But if you’re looking for a show-stopper, that’s not what this scent is.

Where To Buy Boss The Scent Le Parfum

You can pick this fragrance up from Hugo Boss direct, as well as most other fragrance shops in the UK and worldwide.
