Best Trainers July 2021
Adidas
Adidas Torino
The Adidas City Series is looking good with the Torino trainers. Taken from the 70s and terrace culture, the series is as relevant today as it ever was.
The colourway on these trainers is mostly blue, with the trademark Adidas three stripes to the sides of the trainers being in white. They have a silver heel with blue trefoil, and a gum sole. They’re inspired from the 1981 release, and have the same suede uppers.
You can get these at END here for £85.
Nike
Nike Air Max Furyosa NRG Metallic Silver
I first saw these Air Max several weeks ago and thought they looked crazy. What do you think?
Air Max is all about the air bubble. They’ve done a lot, including an all round air sole, but this is the first time I’ve seen something as crazy as this. It’s two air compartments stacked up on top of each other.
That’s a double decker of an Air Max trainer! Not only that, but the name is cool. They’re called the Nike Furyosa. It sounds like an Italian car.
I don’t think the style is great, but the crazy futuristic design means they have to get a mention.
They’re slated as women’s, and will cost £145 when they’re on sale on 7th July here at Nike.
Nike Air Max Pre-Day BeTrue
This is a new silhouette from the Air Max range, and it’s one which I find intriguing. They’re calling it the Pre-Day, and it’s interesting. It has the air capsule in an unusual housing with the heel of the shoe being partly exposed.
This colour is being called BeTrue and has electric blue uppers, outsole and laces, with a white midsole and rainbow coloured swoosh. Expect to pay £115 for these at Nike here.
Air Max Pre Day Pure Platinum
As with the previous trainers mentioned, these once again come from the Pre Day silhouette. The difference here is the colour, which is far more understated.
If you’re after a pair of white trainers which aren’t completely plain and are a bit different, these could fit the bill. they’ve called them the pure platinum colourway for a reason. Once again they’ll cost £115 here at Nike.
Air Max 96 II Dark Denim
It seems like 2021 is the year for Nike’s Air Max 96 II. These are another release from the popular trainer, this time coming in the blue colourway.
These are the dark denim, and as the name suggests feature a dark denim blue colour throughout the trainer. They have a denim look and feel, with red and yellow complimenting colours giving them a stand out look.
These come in at £160 here at Nike.
Lola Bunny Nike LeBron 18 Low
Space Jam the film is back, and what would it be without some sweet merch and collabs. These Lola Bunny Le Bron 18 Low trainers are one of the picks of the bunch.
Red, cyan black and white are the colours featured, with a speckled style to the front toe of the trainers. With Tune Squad branding on the tongue and “Let’s Do This” printed on the air sole, there’s no mistaken where these come from.
Converse
Converse x Space Jam
Converse also have their own collab with Space Jam with these trainers. The Chuck Taylor All Star trainers come decorated in all the Space Jam glory.
The black hi-tops have a few stars printed on the sides of the trainer, including Daffy Duck and Lola bunny. If you like a bit of retro style or just love the film, you can get these for a bit of fun on your feet. They’ll cost around £70.
And that’s it. The best and latest trainer releases for July 2021. Let me know what you think of these, and if you’d buy any of these trainers.
