Finally, I have got the 2024 Spain home shirt by Adidas, and I have it with Lamine Yamal printing.
This was the shirt worn at the triumphant Euro 2024 campaign, and here’s what you need to know about it.
As you’ll already know, I got the Spain 2024 away shirt, and for the whole of the Euros I was wearing the Re-issue 96 Spain shirt which I absolutely adore. But the current home shirt was always on my list, and I finally bought it.
I was actually lucky to get it, as it’s been sold out for quite some time, and still isn’t too easy to get a hold of.
Just like the away shirt, this year I opted to wait for the football home and away shirts. This is because in recent tournaments they’ve been put on sale within a week of the competition starting.
However it was just my luck that this year, they were full price for the whole thing. No matter, as mentioned I had my 1996 re-issued shirt which I also bought and wore throughout Euro 2024.
Spain 2024 Home Shirt Details
I went for the replica shirt over the authentic, basically because I couldn’t get the authentic shirt with Lamine Yamal printing to the back.
Unlike the away shirt where I have the nations league and UEFA badges fixed on them, this shirt has no badges. I may buy them and attach these myself in the future, but for now I am just happy to get the shirt.
The biggest draw was the official Spain and Adidas printing that I got to the back. There were so many stand out players at the Euros, but the biggest name has to have been Lamine Yamal.
Only 16 years old and broke lots of records, THAT goal against France, and he got an assist in the final too. I got Nico Williams on the back of the away shirt, so went for Lamine Yamal on this one.
There’s also Spain’s national flower, the carnation printed to the back near the neck of the shirt.
To the front there’s everything you’d expect. The Spain badge is a heat seal type which is now common on replica shirts, along with an embroidered Adidas logo.
The three stripes on the shoulders are stitched, and yellow in colour which is the same as the detailing to the sides of the shirt at the bottom.
The Fit
It’s called a slim fit shirt, but I would say that this is a semi-fitted shirt. It’s not too baggy, but it’s not cut super close to the body either. I always size up in a football shirt so I have plenty of room.
I’ve done that with this shirt, and I really like the fit.
All in all I am happy with the shirt, and everything about it. The 2024 shirts will of course always be that little bit special, since they’re from a winning Spain team.
